It is tempting to start a digital transformation program with a technology decision - a new ERP, a cloud platform, an automation tool. In practice, the organizations that succeed start somewhere else entirely: with a clearly defined business outcome.
Before any technology conversation, we ask clients what the transformation needs to achieve - faster customer onboarding, lower operating cost, better regulatory reporting - and who in the business is accountable for that outcome.
Only once that is clear does it make sense to evaluate technology options, because the right architecture, vendor, and rollout plan depend entirely on what the business actually needs to accomplish.
